Natalie Waller, Qualified Dog Trainer
My name is Natalie and I am a qualified dog trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT). I have been working in animal welfare and rescue since 2008.
In 2016 I moved back to the UK after 12 years in Australia and brought my 11 year old cattle dog (Tilly) with me. She had such a beautiful heart but needed a lot of work with confidence building and socialisation. There were no classes around in my area at the time to help her... so I thought I would start my own!
After enrolling in a Canine Hoopers Instructors course in I soon found my passion. Hoopers is a style of agility training but without the high jumps, sharp bends. I absolutely love teaching it and enjoy watching dogs learn and thrive.
I have now furthered my knowledge in Scent Detection and Mantrailing and fallen in love with dog sports, especially watching owners when their dog gets that they have a 'job' to do.
Dog sports are a great outlet for worried, anxious and 100mph dogs and trust me when I say they will thank you for a day of fun!! I only wish I still had Tilly with me to show her how much fun it all could be.
My other passion is puppies and love learning about the way they tick. I've got a wealth of experience in working with puppies and love to work with new puppy families when they need that little bit of extra support.
